MASK Construction Chemicals has started business in 1990 based in Izmir. Starting with waterproofing products, the company has expanded its production in a short time and obtained the patent rights from the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 1994 for a range of products to further include more products such as concrete admixtures, damp and moisture insulation systems, etc.
Centered in Izmir, Turkey, the company provides sales and guaranteed application services countrywide with its technical staff.
MASK Construction Chemicals has obtained ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard certifications from DAS Certification Ltd., and the company continues its work in a system which always ensures the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction with the principles of honesty, respect and openness for continuous improvement.

Common Problems in Sealing
- Water leakage may occur between tiles in areas such as terraces, bathrooms, toilets, swimming pools, etc… Any treatments for resolving such problems can go no further than short-term solutions only. Any process to fix these often means extra cost and loss of joints.
Solution: These problems can only be resolved by using MASK products without smashing, removing or damaging the tiles.
- Problems such as moisture, loss of paint and plaster may generally occur on the foundations of buildings in areas with high humidity. These problems are called “capillary water”. Brick and plaster excessively absorb water on foundations. As a result, moisture or peeling occurs as mentioned above.
Solution: Required applications are applied to problem areas using MASK products by drilling small holes in 30cm height and 50cm intervals without any removal or breaking.
- Another problem which occurs in the buildings is the moisture caused by the accumulated water on roofs. Many solutions applied today are mainly of surface coating. Such applications lead to cracks, punctures and tears due to the effect of weather conditions after a certain period, thereby causing water to spread to the entire surface and leak down.
Solution: Pores are filled completely with MASK products by penetrating the concrete, far beyond being surface only. Consequently, the water from external factors is blocked to leak down which allows the concrete to breathe easily all the time.
